We are a NZ family business and distributors of De-alcoholised wines and non alcoholic beverages for the South Island (SI) of New Zealand.

You may say “why de-alcoholised wines”? That is a good question and we will come back to this question later.

Vines 4 Life, Our reasons for selling these products is purely from a health benefit view point. Please note that it is not our intention that through the introduction of de-alcoholised wines into the SI that we will convert people away from alcoholic beverages, what we hope is that the reader will understand that there is an alternative to alcohol and as the old adage says “there is a time and place for everything”

Our personal research has brought some interesting discoveries:
1. there is a demand for de-alcoholised wines from not only teetotallers, but from among traditional wine drinkers.

2. 85% of the people we surveyed (around the country) drank wine for (a) The taste, (b) The perceived health benefit, (c) The kick or buzz from drinking wine and (d) In de-alcoholised wine the levels of polyfenols and bioflavonoids are higher.

The above survey was conducted over a 6 month period with people from all walks of life. Therefore it would appear that taste is a big factor, followed by the perceived health benefit. Most people said that if they wanted to get inebriated, there are less expensive ways of doing this e.g., drinking beer or spirits etc.
